How to Register a Resident Vehicle With a Digital Only Permit
When communities don't want residents to have physical permits, like Smart Decals, residents can be registered with their license plates for digital only permits.
How to register a resident vehicle with a digital only permit:
- From your account in the Parking tab, click "Add" under the Assigned column.
- From the drop down, select the policy for registering resident vehicles, which is typically something called "Resident Vehicle" or something similar.
- Proceed to input the vehicle information, unit address, and any other required information.
- Click "Save".
The resident will now be registered with a digital only permit. When their license plate is scanned or checked by enforcement, they will show as registered.
