How to Ban a Unit or Vehicle

Units and vehicles can be banned from registering in the Parking Attendant.

In Manager, Full Access users can ban vehicles and units. This will block them from being able to register in the Parking Attendant (i.e. as a guest, when activating a resident decal). 

To ban a unit or vehicle:

  1. Search the unit or vehicle in Manager using the Lookup function.
  2. Scroll right to the 'Limits & Usage' column.
  3. Click 'Ban Vehicle...' or 'Ban Unit...' (depending what you have searched)
  4. Enter a reason and click 'Ban Vehicle/Unit' to ban them. 
  5. Hover over 'Options' and click 'Unban' to remove a ban. 

NOTE: A vehicle will remain banned unless removed by a Full Access user. Unit bans will be automatically removed upon a move-out being completed. 

TIP: From the 'Limits & Usage' dashboard in Manager you can pull the full list of banned units/vehicles. Hover over 'Options' if you need to remove a ban. From Reports, you can also pull the Parking Enforcement -> Banned report to pull the full list.
